DIFFERENT LEVELS OF EXECUTION

  • MAE Front or Forward
  • MAWASHI Circular
  • YOKO Side or Lateral
  • USHIRO Back or Rear
  • AGE Upper or Rising
  • OTOSHI Drop or Dropping

 

GOALS TO ACHIEVE THROUGH TECHNICAL WORK

  • KIME: Focus of Power and Concentration.
  • KI: Vital force.
  • KIAI: A shout delivered for the purpose of focusing all of one's energy into a single movement.
  • MUCHIMI: Movement executed very strongly, sticky but in a fluid action.
  • CHIRU NON CHAN CHAN: Muscular condition in which the muscles are tense as the steel but at the same time flexible and resistant.
  • CHINKUCHI KAKI : It is the tension or stabilization of the points of union of the body to execute a firm stance and to execute a powerful blow, or to do a strong blocking.
  • NUJISASHI: It is the moment in which there are executed the slow and relaxed movements, is the opposite of those movements that are executed in a strong way.
  • SHIMEIJURASA: The inherent power in the apparent punch without effort, the soft application of the muchimi, and the efficient fluid in the development of the technology(skill), which keeps the control of the breathing constant.

 

TYPES OF BREATHING

  • DONTO Normal breathing
  • IBUKI Diaphragmatic breathing with abdominal sonorous contraction
  • NOGARE Diaphragmatic breathing without abdominal contraction
  • IBUKI- NOGARE Diaphragmatic breathing with abdominal contraction without noise

 

TECHNICAL PRINCIPLES

  • HIKITE: The retracting (pulling and twisting) arm during a technique
  • HIKIASHI: Retracting leg
  • UNZOKU: Feet movement
  • CHAKUGAN: Focusing
